Let us help you get on the road to recovery

In these challenging moments, when disaster strikes without warning, we stand by your side with unwavering support. Our mission is to provide a helping hand as you navigate through your next steps. As you scroll below, you'll find essential resources, valuable information, and a community ready to rally behind you.

Getting started

You will first need to tell your insurance agent about your property damage. Once your insurance company evaluates the damage, they will begin to file your claim. If approved, your insurance carrier will pay the claim by issuing a check to pay for repairs. The check will be made out to everyone who has a financial interest in the property, including you and your mortgage company/servicer (the company to whom you send your mortgage payments).

Because your mortgage company has a financial interest in your property and is named as a loss payee on your property insurance policy, the insurance company issuing the claim payments typically names both the insured homeowner and lender/mortgage company as co-payees.
