A little more about me.
Kevin matches the homebuyer’s goals with the mortgage guidelines and finds a loan that matches their needs.
Kevin Johnson entered the real estate industry in 2005 and transitioned to the mortgage business in 2016. Highly trained in sales and communication skills, he addresses issues quickly and honestly to ensure a smooth and easy closing for homebuyers.
A person who goes beyond asking questions to look for the meaning behind the answers, Kevin has both compassion and empathy for homebuyers. “Everybody is dealing with something and to that person, the problem is paramount. You have to understand what their challenges are,” says Kevin. “I ask clients to tell me about things they’ve done in their life and what’s important to them. I try to put myself in their shoes and see the situation from their perspective.”
Kevin matches the homebuyer’s goals with the mortgage guidelines and finds a loan that matches their needs. “I ask questions, stay in close communication, and find solutions that aren’t readily obvious,” says Kevin. “I take notes when talking with my clients and share information I think would be of interest to them outside of the mortgage industry. The relationship doesn’t end at closing. I care. I really do.”
Kevin is very involved in his community and volunteers weekly in a class at Rachael Freeman Elementary School. In addition, he volunteered with Hurricane Matthew clean-up efforts. He also participates in Pretty in Pink Foundation, an organization that serves under-insured or uninsured North Carolinians diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as Going Beyond Pink, a campaign to raise awareness about metastatic breast cancer.
