Nelda Cales, area manager for Eastern North Carolina, started her career in the banking, financial and mortgage industry in 1995. She recently came to Atlantic Bay to extend mortgage lending services to home buyers in New Bern, Greenville, Washington, Jacksonville, Fayetteville, the Crystal Coast and Wilmington Beaches. Nelda is passionate about teaching others how to improve their situation. She says, “I love my career and helping others achieve their goals. I like to provide the client with the best options and allow them to be active in the process of determining which mortgage product best suits their needs. I provide the education and solutions so that they can make the best decision.”

Nelda says, “My biggest focus in helping the customer is geared toward education. When a client or agent entrusts me to work for them, it is not just a transaction. I also take time to discuss budgets to help a client improve their overall financial picture.
