Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group® recently donated several items to the non-profit organization, Eggleston. Since 1995, Eggleston has been dedicated to education, training and employing individuals with disabilities in the communities.

The non-profit was chosen by Atlantic Bay employee, David Griffin.
“I thought Eggleston was a great choice because they truly give people with disabilities the tools to empower themselves by giving them jobs that allow them the satisfaction of earning a living and being positive additions to the community,” said Griffin.
Every donation helps Eggelston provide on-the-job training and supports life enhancement programs, residential housing, and recreation. The organization states they were able to help 1,000 individuals with disabilities just this year.
“For over 60 years, Eggleston programs and services have helped tens of thousands of people with disabilities and their families — and they depend on the generosity of supporters like Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group,” said Eggleston Director of Development Amy Weinstein. “We use donations of furniture and household goods to upgrade and improve our facilities, whenever we are able. For instance, the exercise equipment donated by Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group will be used by some participants of Eggleston’s Day Support Services, to increase physical activity, and promote health and wellness.”
Weinstein explains how important it is for local businesses to donate or sponsor a fundraiser or specific program. “Your charitable contributions are vital to our success, and we need them now more than ever.”
