Growing up, Susan Hammack’s father managed a loan company in Altavista, Virginia. “I wanted to do what my father did,” she says. Now, with 21 years of experience under her belt, she has worked in many sectors of the mortgage industry.
“I love helping people make one of the most important decisions of their life. It’s very rewarding to see their excitement at the closing table and watching clients get the keys to their dreams,” she says.
Susan works with all families and individuals, no matter their experience in homeownership, but she especially enjoys helping first-time homebuyers and providing guidance along the way to empower them in their mortgage journey.
Susan is an active member of several charitable organizations including the Altavista Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity. “Giving back to my community is very important to me,” she says. “I strive to make Central Virginia a better place to live.”
