A long time resident of Williamsburg, Virginia, Lauriane VanVoorhees prefers to initially meet her clients face to face. She says, “It’s all about the relationships. I like to give my clients that personal touch.” Lauriane, who began her career in the mortgage industry in 1992, is very knowledgeable in all types of loans. Energetic and highly motivated, she is always available to her clients and has a reputation for getting the deal done.
Lauriane says, “I set expectations for my clients. Starting with how the process will flow, I explain each step in the process. I tell them who is involved and at what stage. I talk about the typical timeline and closing date. I give them a full list of the items we will need to process their loan.” She works closely with the Atlantic Bay operations team to ensure every detail is accurate so the client’s loan will close on time.
