A little more about me.

Seeing how hard my parents worked to get to where they are, going from no education to living successful lives, inspires me to motivate others.

My career in the mortgage industry began when a friend of mine introduced me to my current boss. She believed I’d be a good fit since I love helping people and I’m bilingual. Speaking Spanish lets me help native speakers achieve their homeownership dreams when they might’ve thought they’d never get the chance in the first place. I currently serve Kentucky and Indiana, but I have plans to branch out into more states in the future.

I do what I do because I love making families happy. I can’t help but smile every time I see their faces light up when I tell them they’ve qualified for a loan and are on the path to homeownership. Helping people has always been something I’ve enjoyed. Not just in this industry, but in my previous careers as well.

Before joining Atlantic Bay, I was a Spanish interpreter for medical practices and helped my husband around the bakery we have here in Louisville (La Morena). Even when people were just stopping by, they sometimes needed help with something else, and if I knew I could assist them, I always would.

I’m very passionate about helping others, especially when they don’t think they’re ready for homeownership. It’s my job to prepare them so they’re ready once their time comes. Everyone has the chance to become a homeowner, so I guide my clients to that point, little by little.

When I’m not working with clients, I like to stay involved with the Preston Business Alliance. We help an area of town (Preston Highway, for example) not just for businesses, but for the people that live there. Since owning the bakery and growing up around Preston Highway, improving the area has always been a major priority for me and my neighbors. And with owning La Morena, we’ve given away free bread to organizations or just tried out best to aid people in the communities around us. I’ve also recently accepted an offer to interpret for South Louisville Community Ministries. I found out about them and their work in aiding the Latino community here in Louisville after going to an event for the Americana Community on International Women’s Day.

I have two beautiful baby girls, Lani and Jack Jack, and I have a loving husband who supports me in everything I do. Having such an amazing and dedicated support system at home has gotten me to where I am today.

In my free time, I love being around my family. I’m always with my girls and parents. Being around mom and dad is more than a luxury since I’ve seen them be without their parents for years, so I really cherish having them around. I love to dance and play soccer. In high school, I used to play for our school’s team. But I also really enjoy reading. I don’t have a go-to author, but if it’s a good book, I can’t put it down.
