A little more about me.
I joined the mortgage industry after my own homebuying experience opened my eyes to the impact a great Mortgage Banker and company can make. At the time, I was a bank teller, but after working with my MB and getting to know Atlantic Bay’s culture, I knew it was something I had to be a part of.
Now serving as the Branch Manager of our New Bern office, and with hundreds of families helped across North Carolina and Virginia, I specialize in working with military families, first-time buyers, and those relocating for new jobs or retirement.
As a military spouse myself, I understand the unique challenges that come with PCS orders and transitioning out of the military. I also love working with retirees who are navigating big life changes – whether that means getting closer to family or finding financial peace of mind on a fixed income.
I’m passionate about mortgage education, not just for my buyers, but for my agents, too. The mortgage process can seem overwhelming, but my goal is always to remove unnecessary stress and make things feel clear and manageable.
So many of my clients tell me they grew up without much, and that homeownership always felt out of reach. Showing them that it is possible continues to inspire me every single day.
Making a deeper connection with my clients is something I strive for in all our conversations. Learning more about their backgrounds and families helps me understand the “why” behind their purchase. We all have a story to tell, and it’s my duty to hear those of my clients.
As for my own story – I’m married to my husband, Chris, and together we have a Boston Terrier duo, Kona and Mia, and recently welcomed our daughter to the family.
I stay active in the community as a member of the Craven County Board of REALTORS®. Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring the mountains of North Carolina or new places around the world. I’m also a passionate runner, and these days my Saturday mornings are filled with coffee, a stroller, and a family walk to the park.
