Devorah, an Atlanta native, is a knowledgeable and trusted resource for both first-time and experienced homebuyers. She entered the finance and mortgage industry in 1992.
Early in the conversation with her clients, Devorah takes the time to listen to their story and find out what they’re trying to do. “I understand the various ups and downs of the process and explain everything patiently in simple terms. I’m also a problem solver and take the intimidation factor out of the process,” Devorah says. “Helping people get into their dream home is very satisfying for me.”
Devorah breaks everything down for her clients and keeps them informed from start to finish. “I take them through the general process and send them a terminology sheet to help them understand the process. After they review it, I follow up to answer their questions,” Devorah says. “The biggest issue in our industry is communication. People want to know — even if there’ s nothing to tell them.”
Devorah believes giving back to her community is very important. She’s involved with many organizations including Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Blood Services, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Ian Friends Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting research in pediatric brain tumors; the Genesis Shelter, a homeless shelter; the Dyslexia Dash, and Bosley’s Place, a dog rescue organization.
