A little more about me.
I understand that no two homebuyers are alike. That’s why I find the best financing situations to fit your unique needs.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Lindsay Barbera is a proud Louisiana native and 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University who has spent nearly 20 years building a career in mortgage banking.
Lindsay began her career in the mortgage industry fresh out of LSU and has since worked across nearly every facet of the business. Her experience spans loan processing and origination, servicing, product development and strategy, secondary markets, investor and warehouse relationships, risk management, cybersecurity, compliance, and sales leadership. That broad perspective gives her a unique understanding of the mortgage process—not just how to get a loan to the closing table, but how all the pieces behind it work together.
In 2020, Lindsay earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation, the highest professional designation in the mortgage banking industry. She became the first female in Louisiana to earn the CMB and, at the time, joined a group of fewer than 300 women nationwide to hold the designation. She remains passionate about encouraging women to pursue leadership opportunities, recognize the value of their experience, and confidently use their voices within the industry.
Today, Lindsay serves as Area Sales Manager for Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, where she is leading the company's growth throughout Louisiana. For Lindsay, the opportunity is both professional and deeply personal. Louisiana is home, and she understands that doing business here is built on relationships, trust, and showing up for your community. Her focus is on growing Atlantic Bay's presence across the state, developing and supporting talented mortgage professionals, building strong partnerships with real estate professionals, and helping Louisiana families achieve their homeownership goals.
Lindsay is also deeply involved with the Louisiana Mortgage Bankers Association (LMBA) and will serve as the organization's incoming Vice President. She also serves as Chair of the Future Leaders Committee, where she helps develop the next generation of mortgage professionals through education, mentorship, industry exposure, and leadership development. Her involvement with LMBA also extends to industry advocacy, where she works alongside mortgage professionals across Louisiana to strengthen the industry and ensure its voice is represented.
For Lindsay, giving back to the industry that has shaped her career is incredibly important. She believes leadership is not simply about what you accomplish personally, but about creating opportunities for others, sharing what you've learned, and helping develop the leaders who will come next.
