Our story
Independently owned since day one
Atlantic Bay began in Virginia in 1996 with Founder Brian Holland and a team of just three others. The early operation was lean. As the story goes, you got a desk when you closed a loan. Fast forward 30 years, and Brian still serves as CEO and Atlantic Bay remains independently owned.
While we’ve grown, our focus hasn’t changed. We’ve built a culture where people genuinely care, have fun doing work they love, and inspire one another to grow. It’s one reason we’ve been named the Best Large Mortgage Company to Work For by National Mortgage News four years running.
